CIST is part of Busnes@LlandrilloMenai, the business-facing arm of Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, Wales’s largest provider of further education.
CIST'S offering is underpinned by years of experience in running industry-relevant training to meet the needs of individual firms and the economy as a whole.
We are located on one of the Grŵp’s sites, its stunning Llangefni campus on Anglesey, which has seen an overall investment of approximately £20m since 2016 and an increase in size from 5 acres to 16 acres.
A substantial proportion of our training portfolio is delivered in partnership, ensuring the highest quality, industry-standard knowledge and equipment.
Facilities
CIST is a £2.4m professional training centre where high-quality training is provided for the construction and civil engineering industries.

- Practical Skills Centre - scaffolding, material handling, working at heights
- Zero Carbon Training Centre - renewables, compliance training and assessment centre
- External areas - plant operations, streetworks, utilities, parking
All facilities have been designed to reflect actual site conditions and adhere to site safety standards.
