    Shaun felt he was stuck in a job that was taking him nowhere, so he signed up to PLA and changed his story. From a groundsman to a full time, self employed Heavy Plant Operator Instructor, Shaun applied for a Personal Learning Account and attended courses at CIST, Llangefni.

    Bea was interested in Health and Safety but was working as a dispenser in a pharmacy. She signed up for PLA funding, attended a course at CIST and is now a HSEQ Coordinator for Jennings Building and Civil Engineering. By signing up to PLA and attending a NEBOSH course through CIST Bea was able to progress in her career.

    From a warehouse operative to a qualified Gas Engineer, Francesca wanted a different career and applied for a Personal Learning Account and attended a Domestic Gas course at CIST, Llangefni. With the funding from the Personal Learning Account, Francesa is now a qualified Gas Engineer.
