Why did you decide to sign up with Net Zero Training Gwynedd?
I was keen to develop my skills to fulfil my job as a Community Energy Officer in the Caernarfon and Dyffryn Peris area. When giving advice and carrying out energy surveys, I think it’s important that residents are served by locally trained people.
Have the skills you’ve learnt been useful to you and your company?
Certainly, especially as one of my duties is conducting energy surveys in the homes of people who want to be more efficient or reduce fuel costs. As a next step, I’ve signed up for the Older and Traditional Buildings course. The scheme is very rewarding, and I would encourage people to sign up.
