Course Description
The e-learning course on Asbestos Awareness is suitable for anyone who may come into contact with asbestos in their work.
All employers must ensure that workers who are likely to come into contact with asbestos receive adequate information, instruction and training. These include maintenance workers and others who may come into contact with or disturb asbestos.
As well as informing candidates about the dangers of working with asbestos, the course will help them identify materials containing asbestos and inform them where asbestos has been used. The steps that can be taken to reduce the risks are also mentioned, and the legislation that applies when working with asbestos is discussed.
