Course Description
The Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Management qualification has been designed to give a standardised grounding for all non-clinical and some clinically based staff involved in providing leadership and management within healthcare services in Wales.
To undertake this qualification, learners must be employed in team leading/management roles in a healthcare environment. The qualification has been developed to provide better standardisation of practice in Wales through external quality assurance for this area of work.
It is the preferred qualification for NHS Wales for non-clinical and some clinical staff. It is the expectation that all non-clinical staff in management/ team leading roles will have the opportunity to complete the qualification and/or to achieve elements of it for continuing professional development to support changes in practice over time.
Learners must be 18 years of age or older to undertake this qualification and must be employed in team leading/management roles in a healthcare environment.
This qualification is available in English and Welsh.

All places are subject to a satisfactory interview.
Delivery
Work based delivery - use of an electronic portfolio and Teams meetings. Hybrid using remote meetings and face to face observations.

Assessment by observation, discussion, assignments, Q&A, work products.
Progression
Level 4 ILM Diploma in Leadership & Management.
