Course Description

The ACCA qualification is awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, which is the global body for professional accountants. This effective study route allows delegates to pursue a rewarding career in accountancy, management and finance.

The qualification is designed to teach candidates the accounting knowledge, skills and professional standards and behaviors that will provide an opportunity to build a successful career across any sector.

Entry Criteria

You will need to have an accountancy qualification at Level 4 e.g. AAT Technician, or a relevant degree. You should be working in the accountancy sector, as the qualification requires practical knowledge and application.

All places are subject to satisfactory interview.

Delivery

ACCA is delivered online.

For each module, you will have 60-80 hours of induction, tutorials, webinars and revision sessions.

Outside online class support is available via online meetings, email and telephone.

Assessment

For each module you will sit one examination, which will take place during the ACCA examination periods, which are March, June, September and December. Candidates are advised to check the ACCA website for the dates of these examination periods. Precise examination dates will be confirmed by the college at the start of each module.

Progression

This professional qualification provides openings in a wide range of sectors where accounting and financial management are fundamental to organisational performance. Further professional development will depend on your individual career and the requirements of the sector in which you are working.
