Course Description
Would you like to improve your dressmaking skills and make your own clothes?
This course covers:
- Make a toile
- Make the toile to fit you
- Basic adjustments to a pattern
- Cut out pattern pieces
- Layout of pattern on the fabric and cut out
- Make a simple skirt/ top
- Enhance your making to something more complicated e.g. dress/pinafore/gillet
- You are learning new techniques all the time
Entry Criteria
There are no entry requirements for this course although you will need your own sewing machine and sewing notions.
You will be given a list of what you need before the course starts.
Delivery
Lessons will be classroom-based and will use a range of teaching methods including modelled, shared and guided.
