Course Description

The course helps students develop the skills needed to work in a primary classroom. At Rhos-on-Sea and Prestatyn learners will spend 2 days per week learning in a community venue, and 1 additional day per week of work experience. In Holyhead and Caernarfon the work experience takes place at the end of the course.

Tutors will help students arrange their placements. Hours are child-friendly, totalling less than 16/17 hours per week.

The course is free, but students must complete a DBS check with the College which (currently) costs £38.
