Course Description
This course will provide an introduction to managing your digital photos, you will learn how to download your photos into named folders, how to name or rename your photos to facilitate easy retrieval. You will also learn how to sort your photos i.e. into date order, size order etc. The course consists of practical activities, discussions and demonstrations. You will cover the following topics, downloading photo files into a storage medium, naming and renaming files, creating folders and sub-folders, copying and moving photos, retouching photographs, applying colour adjustments, working with layers and filters.
By the end of the course, you should be able to download and manage your image files, retrieve your image files, and work with a variety of tools on localised areas of an image and apply special effects using filters and layers styles.
