Course Description

This course will build on your male grooming skills and allow you to develop further skills in order to be able to provide a service to clients. This will include beard trimming, eyebrow shaping and other personal grooming requirements for men.

These skills will enable you to expand and develop the services you offer within your salon.

Entry Criteria

Working as a barber or in the hairdressing industry.

Delivery

This course will be delivered through demonstrations from the tutor followed by learners practicing the skills that have been demonstrated in the college salon.

Assessment

This course does not require an assessment.

Progression

The Work Based Learning Hair and Beauty Department at GLLM offer level 2 and level 3 courses for those already working in the HBT sector and for those wishing to begin a career in the sector.
