Course Description
This short course will cover a number of areas related to medications.
Firstly, you will cover the importance of administration and the safe use of medicines within a health and care setting.
The course looks at current local and national policies and regulations relating to the administration of medication.
Also covered will be the safe storage of medications, how to administer medication focusing on Health and safety and hygiene practices, communication and also completing medicines record sheets.

Assessment
- The course is assessed through discussion, completion of a short workbook and the use of case studies.
- Upon successful completion, you will receive a college certificate.
