Course Description
Do you want a job that gives you the opportunity to travel, discover new cultures and mix with people from all walks of life? Our Cabin Crew course will equip you with the essential skills to help you take off towards your dream career in the airline industry.
You will learn how to coordinate a safe flight, prepare the cabin, deal with passengers, perform safety procedures as well as how to deal with emergencies. You will also participate in practical training during an external visit where you will really gain a hands-on sense of the role.
Entry Criteria
There are no formal entry requirements, however students should have a good standard of spoken and written English. It is a requirement that students wear the college Cabin Crew uniform to each session and during external training.
Delivery
Learners are required to successfully complete 6 mandatory units. The course is delivered through a blend of the following:
- Lectures
- Presentations
- Group work
- Classroom-based learning
- Tutorial support
- Educational visits
- MOODLE (virtual learning environment)
Assessment
- Practical and written assessments and assignments
- Presentations and demonstrations
- Portfolios of work
- Performance and observation
- Demonstration of practical skills
