Care Assistant

Riverbank Home Care Ltd is a new domiciliary home care service, providing care and support to adults within Denbighshire.

We are currently seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing care and support to individuals in their own home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of residents.

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, nutrition and hydration, medication assistance, respite for families and light domestic duties
- Support individuals with mobility issues and help them move around the home safely
- Follow care plans and ensure all individual needs are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help organise recreational activities for individuals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Utilise IT systems for documentation purposes

Requirements:
- Experience in care home or home care settings is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- A valid driving licence is necessary
- Must be registered with Social Care Wales
