We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. If you have a flair for creativity and a passion for high-quality cuisine, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and sanitation standards
  • Develop and test new recipes, and contribute to menu planning and development
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently within budget
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in scheduling and managing kitchen staff
  • Step in and perform the Head Chef's duties in their absence

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary trends
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
  • Creative and innovative approach to menu planning and recipe development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
