Further Education Finance
Welsh Government Learning Grant: FE
This grant provides funding to help with the costs of your education if you’re aged 19 or over. If you’re studying full-time you could get payments of up to £1,500 a year or, if studying part-time, you could get up to £750 a year.
Learner Support Fund (LSF)
The Learner Support Fund can help towards the essential equipment, PPE and costs related to your course. You may also be eligible to receive a grant to help pay towards your costs of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service - formerly CRB) checks, educational visits, transport and childcare.
If you are aged 16 to 18, have previously received Free School Meals and your household is in receipt of Universal Credit you will be eligible to receive up to a maximum of £19.50 a week towards purchasing lunch whilst at college.
We also have a grant to help buy ICT equipment essential for your course.
