We’re very excited that the highly anticipated new Bangor campus will open its doors later on this month.
We’re sure you have some questions, so we hope this document will help you get the information that you may need.
Where is the new Bangor campus?
The new campus is conveniently situated on the Parc Menai business park.

When will the new campus open to new learners?
Induction for new learners will take place on the 29th and 30th of August.
Learners will receive details regarding induction following the ‘Secure Your Place’ event, which all applicants are invited to attend. All applicants should have received an invitation to this event.
When will the new campus open to returning learners? (second and third year)
Learners progressing from Level 3 Year 1 to Year 2 will start college on Monday the 4th of September. However, all learners are invited to come to the college on Thursday the 22nd or Friday the 23rd of August to have a look around the college and familiarise yourself with the new campus and our fantastic state of the art facilities.
Which subjects will be taught at the new campus?
The campus will be home to a range of vocational areas:
Hair and Beauty, Hospitality and Catering, Business, Travel and Tourism, Performing Arts, Music, Media (TV, Computing and Games Development), Access to Higher Education, Adult Community Learning, and English for Speakers Other Languages.

Who is able to attend the Secure Your Place event on the 22nd and 23rd August?
Secure Your Place is aimed at all new to college students and an opportunity for those learners to come to college to confirm that they have the entry requirements for their course of choice. If they do not have entry requirements, please do not worry, come to college on those days and we will find a course that is suitable to your qualifications. Level 3 Year 2 learners studying at the Bangor campus academic year 24/25 can also attend secure your place. This gives you an opportunity to familiarise yourselves with your new campus.
Is it too late to apply to study at the new campus?
