Various fundraising events were in full swing across Grŵp Llandrillo Menai’s 12 campuses as groups of students and staff were out and about raising money for Children in Need. Hundreds and hundreds of pounds have been raised, with more coming in by the hour!

Centre for Infrastructure, Skills & Technology (CIST) - Busnes@LlandrilloMenai along with NEBOSH delivery partner Delyn Safety UK Ltd are delighted to announce that Tesni James has been awarded The Ian Whittingham Award for the Best Candidate in the NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).

Apprentices from some of Ynys Môn’s (Anglesey’s) top employers descended on Westminster yesterday (31/10/22) to showcase not only the breadth of companies on the island but also how these businesses are using the apprenticeship scheme to train and develop a local workforce.

The world’s first preserved railway is also among the first to benefit from a project designed to help businesses reduce carbon emissions.

Dozens of Grŵp Llandrillo Menai staff members - along with ex-staff and students – are rejoicing after completing a 3-day, 200-mile cycle ride from London to Paris, where they battled heatwaves, thunderstorms and exhaustion…all in the name of charity!

The new term at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai has seen hundreds of young people enrol on courses across its 12 campuses. Many courses are full to capacity, but senior managers report that there are currently limited places available, so it’s still possible to find a course if you contact your local college.

With an increased focus on carbon reduction, SMEs in Gwynedd and Anglesey are receiving support as they embark on their journey to a net zero future, thanks to the recently launched Green Digital Academy.
