Grŵp Llandrillo Menai Awarded Contract to Deliver ‘Healthcare Practice’ Course Across Wales
Health Education Improvement Wales (HEIW) has awarded Grŵp Llandrillo Menai contracts to roll out the Level 4 Certificate in ‘Healthcare Practice’ across Wales over the next seven years.
The Level 4 Certificate in Healthcare Practice programme prepares Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) for advanced roles whilst facilitating seamless progression to Nursing Degrees at universities.
Through addressing skills gaps and widening access to higher education, the unique programme empowers learners to enhance their careers and future prospects whilst remaining employed.
Around 200 HCSWs are expected to enrol onto the programme each year, which will be available nationally, with modes of face-to-face, blended and online learning.
The contract award builds on GLlM’s continued commitment to meeting the needs of employers with its Higher Education offerings, aligning with regional priorities and economic demands.
