College's Student Union Named Best in Wales for Fourth Consecutive Time!
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai is delighted to announce that its Student Union has been named ‘best in Wales’ for the fourth consecutive time at the annual NUS Wales Awards’ ceremony in Cardiff!
The Further Education Student Union of the Year award nationally recognises the college union’s continued exceptional work in their campaigning activities, engaging with thousands of learners over 12 campuses and four counties. The fact they were able to achieve this within the present climate further demonstrates their determination and commitment to the student experience.
The judging panel highlighted the range, effectiveness and inclusivity of the union’s campaigns over the last year, and praised Grŵp Llandrillo Menai Student Union’s dedication in supporting local charities and communities.
Not only did it win the Further Education Student Union of the Year award, the Student Union was also shortlisted for four other awards in direct competition with large-scale universities, which is an impressive achievement.
