Dolgellau students experience visual culture at its best
Art students from Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor visited London to experience the city’s best visual art and architecture.
The learners are studying a Foundation Course in Art and Design and an Extended Diploma in Art and Design at the Dolgellau campus.
They went to visit some of the world's best known art institutions, including the British Museum, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, the V&A, Goldsmiths University and the Natural History Museum.
Martin Evans, Head of the Art and Design department at Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor, Dolgellau said: "It was a great trip. The students were excellent, and they have come back to college with essential knowledge and experience which they have been able to incorporate into their creative project work."
