It’s Wellbeing Week!

Wellbeing Week highlights the support and resources available to students across the Grŵp.

During this week’s Wellbeing enrichment activities, Grŵp Llandrillo Menai will be promoting all of the services and supporting resources available to its learners to ensure that they are provided with the highest quality experience in a healthy and a safe environment, whilst completing their studies.

Support ranges from confidential counselling and further referrals, to advice on staying active and eating healthily.

Across all campuses, Learner Services provides a one-stop shop for information, support and guidance.

As well as the support provided by Learner Services, all students also have access to the online Wellbeing Hub.

The Wellbeing Hub brings together the Grŵp’s extensive health and wellbeing support programmes for learners to access from home or in college. The online Hub portal compliments the delivery of the 4 key areas of the Grŵp’s Wellbeing Plan through the promotion and provision of opportunities and services to improve the wellbeing of our learners in the following areas:

  • Active & Healthy

  • Social and Emotional Wellbeing

  • Our Environment

  • Stay Safe.

The Hwb offers resources such as online fitness sessions to encourage learners to keep healthy and active, an online referral form for wellbeing mentor support, a monthly wellbeing calendar of activities, and information about initiatives such as the Active Ambassadors programme.

It also features the Grŵp’s ‘I’m OK Survey’, which forms a personalised Wellbeing Plan using the answers given. The Wellbeing plan includes self-care tips, and a handy tracking tool so learners are able to track the progress they have made.

Free sanitary products are also available to all female learners through the Grŵp’s Period Dignity campaign, `It Won't Stop Us'
