A teenage Coleg Llandrillo student who has recently excelled in weightlifting at an all-Wales level, has won his first ever medal at the British Weightlifting Championships.

A Coleg Glynllifon student was recently named runner-up in the prestigious Lifelong Learner of the Year category at the annual Lantra awards ceremony.
