Business Breakfast for Small-scale Renewables Contractors and Companies wishing to Gain Certification

CIST, the Centre for Infrastructure Skills and Technology at Llangefni has joined forces with MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) and the IAA (Installation Assurance Authority) to host a not-to-be-missed information session for companies in the small-scale renewable energy systems installation business.⁠

Small-scale renewables including solar PV and heat pumps are key to decarbonisation of the existing housing stock and the delivery of energy efficient homes. MCS Accreditation is essential for renewable installation companies who want to be part of the supply chain working on retrofit projects to decarbonise homes.

The event will detail forthcoming changes to the MCS Scheme aimed at better protecting consumers and improving compliance processes for installers, these come into effect In January 2025.

The event takes place 8.30-10.30 on 08 November 2024 at Tŷ Gwyrddfai - the decarbonisation hub at Penygroes.
