‘Visit Wales’ Visits Grŵp Llandrillo Menai!

Travel and Tourism students recently attended an interactive presentation by Visit Wales.

Students from both Coleg Menai and Coleg Llandrillo attended the virtual seminar, led by Head of Visit Wales’ Marketing Caryl Jones, and Kerry Thatcher, Visit Wales’ Partnership Manager.

The presentation gave an overview of Visit Wales’ strategy and brand values, the projects that Visit Wales are currently working on, and the future of tourism in Wales. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Frances Davies, Programme Area Manager for Travel and Tourism at Coleg Menai, said,

“We’re really grateful to both Kerry and Caryl from Visit Wales for their time. It was an extremely valuable and useful experience for the students.”

Rhiannon Thew, Programme Area Manager for Travel and Tourism at Coleg Llandrillo, said,

“The students thoroughly enjoyed this event and we look forward to working again with Visit Wales in the future!”
