Course Description
The purpose of this course is to give practical examples of how Welsh can be used in the classroom.
This course can be delivered to a college or work-based learning organisation, or tailored to a specific subject area. Contact Sgiliaith to discuss further.
Entry Criteria
This course is aimed at tutors and lecturers in the FE and apprenticeship sector, who teach bilingual groups. It is suitable for Welsh and non-Welsh speakers.
Delivery
Course content:
- Exploring a variety of practical methods and techniques to develop bilingualism in your subject area;
- Identifying key terms and general sector specific vocabulary, and identify opportunities to produce new bilingual resources;
- An opportunity to reflect and plan to develop bilingualism in the classroom.
