Getting Support for Additional Learning Needs / Disabilities in Your Studies
If you need support for additional learning needs / disability, make sure to let us know as soon as you can.
You can tell us on your UCAS or College application before you arrive or at any time while you’re studying.
Before You Arrive
If you told us about your additional learning needs / disability on your application form and accepted an offer to study with us, the ALN team will get in touch to introduce themselves and discuss your support needs.
If you didn’t include this information on your application but would like to, you can email aln@gllm.ac.uk to let us know.
During Your Studies
You can tell us about your additional learning needs / disability at any time by speaking with your tutor or contacting the Additional Learning Needs team.
Providing Supporting Documentation
It is important that you provide us with any supporting documentation. This might include a doctor’s letter, a specialist’s report, or an Educational Psychological Report, depending on your circumstances.
Requesting a Review
If you are already accessing additional support and want to review your current support, you can request a meeting with the ALN team by emailing aln@gllm.ac.uk.
