Our annual graduation ceremony celebrates individual achievements of our higher education students. Each year hundreds of graduates receive their degrees at the prestigious ceremony with many achieving first class honours.
Every year our students receive outstanding results and progress into employment or continue their studies at university.
Pass rates at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai have increased since last year, with the college group achieving an impressive overall A Level pass rate of 99% (+2% vs 2023), with 77.3% A*-C (+3% vs 2023) and 23% of learners achieved the top-grades of A*-A (equal to 2023).
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai has achieved its best-ever results for acceptances by Russell Group Universities, with 64 students securing places, including one at Oxford University. A record six students have also gained the grades to study Medicine, the highest number in the group's history.
Students compete at a wide range of national and international competitions where they can test their skills against students from round the world. Many take part in WorldSkills competitions and have travelled as far as Russia and Brazil to compete. In 2023, our students won 33 medals including 8 golds.

Working out in industry, our apprentices continue to excel in their fields, scooping a range of awards for their hard work. Recent successes include Redrow’s ‘Apprentice of the Year’ and a ‘Medallion of Excellence’ at the Worldskills final.
Our academies in rugby, football and netball are producing the next generation of professional sports men and women. Talented athletes from the academies have gone on to represent Wales at international level.
