Course Description

This 1 Day PAT testing course will give you the fundamental skills and knowledge to test basic items of electrical equipment.

The course is focussed on the practical PAT testing and essential theory required to test basic items of electrical equipment. There is no exam or end assessment, however, at the end of the PAT testing course you will receive a certificate confirming attendance.

Entry Criteria

No formal qualification requirements are stipulated. This course is suitable for those who wish to carry out a simple ‘pass/fail’ type of portable appliance testing where no interpretation of readings is necessary, and is sufficient to meet the requirements of a Level 1 competency operative as defined in the Health and Safety Executives HSG107 Maintaining Portable Electrical Equipment.
