    Course Description

    This is an online instructor led training course providing the foundation module for any employees involved in work at height using Personal Fall Protection Equipment including the Use of Harness, Lanyards and Pre-Use Inspections.

    Designed to give operatives a thorough understanding of the principles of using PFPE including how to select the correct equipment for the task, pre-use inspection, safe use, maintenance and mandatory record keeping.

    Knowledge and understanding of Legislation and safety standards, Assessing risk Managing common hazards Categories of work including work restraint, work position and fall arrest techniques, Safe use of fall arrest lanyards, Use and fitting of full body harnesses, Additional fall protection equipment, Selection of appropriate anchor points, Pre use inspection of height safety equipment, Rescue plan overview

    Training delivered online via instructor-led webinar session.

    Assessment

    You will be assessed using Zoom polls as a knowledge review during the breaks.

    For the summative assessment at the end of the course, a google form question paper will be shared as a link within Zoom for the delegate to complete.

    This is currently in a multiple choice format, allowing the delegates to get an instant end of course result
