Recognising the growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly products and the importance of sustainable business practices, the company was keen to improve its green credentials and reduce its carbon footprint. To achieve this, they signed up to the Green Digital Academy through Busnes@LlandrilloMenai, funded by UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund. The initiative is designed to help businesses adopt digital technologies and implement carbon reduction strategies.

Through the Green Digital Academy, Conwy Kombucha accessed fully funded consultancy support, including:
- Expert Mentorship – A dedicated mentor worked closely with the company to evaluate its current operations and undertake a comprehensive carbon audit and net zero plan.
- Customised Action Plan – Based on the audit results, the mentor developed a tailored roadmap outlining practical steps to reduce carbon emissions and enhance digital capabilities within the business.
- Funding and Training Opportunities – The programme helped Conwy Kombucha identify and secure funding and training to implement and verify the feasibility of recommended technologies aimed at future carbon reduction.
