Grŵp Llandrillo'n sicrhau buddsoddiad o…

Meddai Dafydd Evans, Prif Weithredwr Grŵp Llandrillo Menai:

Mae Grŵp Llandrillo Menai'n croesawu cyhoeddiad Cronfa Adfywio Cymunedol y DU gwerth £220m ac rydym wrth ein boddau i gyhoeddi y byddwn yn darparu prosiectau gwerth £2.5 miliwn ar draws yr ardal.

Mae'r cyhoeddiad hwn yn brawf o enw da Grŵp Llandrillo Menai am weithio gydag awdurdodau lleol a phartneriaid eraill i ddarparu prosiectau sy'n cael effaith cadarnhaol yn lleol mewn partneriaeth â phartneriaid allweddol eraill o'r sector breifat a'r sector cyhoeddus. Bydd y buddsoddiad arwyddocaol hwn gan Lywodraeth y DU yn ein cynorthwyo hefyd i baratoi ar gyfer prosiectau sylweddol yn y dyfodol i gyd-fynd â chyllid o Gronfa Ffyniant Gyffredin y DU.

Bydd Grŵp Llandrillo Menai'n arwain ar y prosiectau isod:

Hwb Arloesi ym Maes Twristiaeth yng Nghonwy mewn partneriaeth â Mostyn Estates: bydd y prosiect hwn yn cefnogi gweithgareddau arloesol sydd â'r nod o feithrin talent ac ymestyn y tymor ymwelwyr.

Academi Ddigidol a Busnesau Sero Net - yn gweithio yng Ngwynedd a Môn ac yn cefnogi busnesau meicro a busnesau bach i wella eu gallu digidol a lleihau eu hallbynnau carbon gyda chefnogaeth gwasanaeth cwnsela arbenigol.

Cyswllt STEM Sir Ddinbych - nod y prosiect ydy ysbrydoli a thanio brwdfrydedd dysgwyr ifanc mewn gyrfaoedd ym maes gwyddoniaeth a pheirianneg drwy ychwanegu gwerth at gwricwlwm mwy ffurfiol.

Addysg Lefel 4 mewn Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol - prosiect i gynnig hyfforddiant o safon uchel mewn ymarfer Gofal Iechyd yn ogystal â hyfforddiant Arwain a Rheoli mewn cartrefi gofal.

Mae Grŵp Llandrillo Menai hefyd yn bartner allweddol y, Partneriaeth Sero Net Gwynedd, prosiect sero net dan arweiniad cymdeithas dai Adra ar y cyd â Busnes@LlandrilloMenai ac amrywiaeth o bartneriaid eraill ar draws Gwynedd.

Croesawyd y cyhoeddiad ar draws yr ardal. Meddai Iwan Trefor Jones, Cadeirydd Partneriaeth Sero Net Gwynedd:

"Rydw i'n croesawu’r cyhoeddiad ac yn edrych ymlaen at gydweithio i ddarparu nifer o gynlluniau fydd yn arwain at fanteision economaidd ac amgylcheddol i gymunedau ar draws Gwynedd."

Llongyfarchiadau i Grŵp Llandrillo Menai am sicrhau buddsoddiad gwerth £2.5 miliwn o Gronfa Adfywio Cymunedol y DU (UKCRF) Mae'r sefydliad arbennig hwn yn gwneud cymaint o waith da i baratoi ein hynys ar gyfer y dyfodol mewn partneriaeth â'r sectorau cyhoeddus a phreifat.

"Mae gwaith caled y sefydliad yn y meysydd allweddol, addysg, digidol, net sero, hyfforddiant a thwristiaeth yn hanfodol a dyma gonglfeini ein ffyniant yn y dyfodol. “

Nododd Robin Millar AS Aberconwy am yr Hwb Arloesi ym Maes Twristiaeth yng Nghonwy:

Hoffwn ddiolch ac wrth gwrs longyfarch pawb o Grŵp Llandrillo Menai a Mostyn Estates am eu gwaith caled yn paratoi'r ceisiadau llwyddiannus.

"Mae dyfarniadau Cronfa Adfywio Cymunedol yn bwynt cychwynnol i'r berthynas newydd rhwng Llywodraeth y DU ac awdurdodau lleol. Rydw i wedi fy nghyffroi i gael gweithio'n uniongyrchol â'r Cyngor, grwpiau cymunedol, busnesau lleol ac elusennau ar hyn ac rydw i'n edrych ymlaen at eu cefnogi wrth iddynt baratoi prosiectau dan nawdd Cronfa Ffyniant Gyffredin y DU. Mae hi'n hanfodol bwysig bod unrhyw nawdd ychwanegol gan Lywodraeth y DU yn cael ei gyfeirio'n uniongyrchol at sefydliadau sy'n deall eu cymunedau.

Dywedodd James Davies, AS Dyffryn Clwyd:

"Rydw i wrth fy modd bod Cronfa Adfywio Cymunedol y DU yn cynnig £2.89 o gyllid ychwanegol i Sir Ddinbych, bydd o gymorth iddynt baratoi ar gyfer y Gronfa Ffyniant Gyffredin fydd yn disodli Cronfeydd Strwythurol yr UE.

"Mae Grŵp Llandrillo Menai wedi derbyn bron i £400,000 ar gyfer Cyswllt STEM Sir Ddinbych', prosiect sydd â'r nod o gynyddu sgiliau a'r diddordeb yn nhwf diwydiannau gwyddoniaeth, technoleg, peirianneg a mathemateg (STEM). Bydd y prosiect yn gweithio gyda gweithwyr allweddol i ddatblygu amrywiaeth o weithdai a bydd yn datblygu fframwaith cydnabyddedig i gynnig tystysgrif 'barod am STEM'.

“Grŵp Llandrillo Menai welcomes the announcement of the £220m UK Community Renewal Fund and we are delighted to be delivering over £2.5m of projects across the region.

“This announcement is a reflection of the strong reputation Grŵp Llandrillo Menai has maintained in working with local authority and other partners to deliver regionally impactful projects with key private and public sector partners. This significant investment by the UK Government will also help us to prepare future significant projects to align with post-EU funding the ‘UK Shared Prosperity Fund’.

The projects lead by Grŵp Llandrillo Menai are:

Conwy Tourism Innovation Hub in partnership with Mostyn Estates: this project will support innovative activities which ultimately seek to build talent and extend the tourist season.

The Digital and Net Zero Business Academy - delivered in Gwynedd and in Anglesey will support micro and small businesses to improve digital capability and reduce carbon output with the support of expert consultancy support.

Denbighshire STEM Connect aims to inspire and enthuse young learners into careers in science and engineering, by enriching their more formal curriculum

Level 4 Health and Social Care Education - A project to provide high quality training for Health Care Practice as well as Leadership and Management training in Care Homes.

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai is also a key partner in the successful Partneriaeth Net Zero Gwynedd, a Gwynedd net zero project led by housing association Adra in collaboration with Busnes@LlandrilloMenai and a range of partners across Gwynedd.

News of the funding announcement has been welcomed across the region. Partneriaeth Net Zero Gwynedd Chairman, Iwan Trefor Jones said:

“I welcome this announcement and am looking forward to working in partnership to deliver a number of plans what will delivery economic and environmental benefits to communities across Gwynedd”

Speaking on behalf of her constituency Virginia Crosbie MP, Member of Parliament for Ynys Môn said:

“Many congratulations to Grŵp Llandrillo Menai for receiving this money from the UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund. This fantastic organisation is doing so much to prepare our island for the future in partnership with both the public and private sectors.

“Its work in the key areas of education, digital and net zero and training and tourism are vital to the island and the building blocks for our future shared prosperity. “

Robin Millar MP, Member of Parliament for Aberconwy commenting on the Conwy Tourism Innovation Hub commented:

“I'd like to thank, and of course congratulate, everyone at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai and Mostyn Estates who worked so hard to put these successful bids together.

“These Community Renewal Fund awards are just the beginning of a new relationship between the UK Government and local authorities. I'm excited to already be working directly with the Council, community groups, local businesses and charities on this and I am looking forward to supporting them as they prepare future projects under the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It is vitally important that further additional funding from the UK Government goes directly to the organisations that understand the communities they serve best.”

Dr James Davies MP, Member of Parliament, Vale of Clwyd commented:

“I am delighted that the UK Community Renewal Fund is providing Denbighshire with £2.89m additional funding to help it prepare for the introduction of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund – which will replace EU Structural Funds.

“Grŵp Llandrillo Menai has been awarded nearly £400,000 for ‘Denbighshire STEM Connect’, a project which intends to increase skill and interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) industry growth. The project will work with key employers to develop a range of workshops and will develop a recognised local framework to provide ‘STEM ready’ certification.”

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It invests in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people into employment. For more
