Myfyrwyr Gwyddoniaeth Gymhwysol Bangor yn dathlu cwblhau eu Diploma Estynedig Biofeddygol!
Cafodd fyfyrwyr Gwyddoniaeth Gynhwysol Coleg Menai gyflwyniad diplomâu a gwobrau yn ddiweddar mewn digwyddiad dathlu ddathlu diwedd y flwyddyn.
Cafodd y darpar wyddonwyr - oedd yn astudio ar safle Bangor - gyfle hefyd i siarad â'u hyfforddwyr yn anffurfiol a chymryd rhan mewn ystod o gwisiau gyda'u cyfoedion.
Rhoddodd y myfyrwyr Lefel 3 - Josie, Michelle, Leanne, Christopher, Robert a Tomás - hefyd gyflwyniad ar y cyd i fyfyrwyr blwyddyn gyntaf a staff. Yn ystod hyn, buont yn rhannu eu profiadau o’r cwrs, gan gynnwys eu cynlluniau ar gyfer y dyfodol, sy’n cynnwys mynd ar amrywiaeth o brifysgolion i astudio graddau mewn Gwyddor Biofeddygol, Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol a Sŵoleg Fertebratau’r Môr!

Mae'r cwrs BTEC Lefel 3 Gwyddoniaeth Gymhwysol (Biofeddygol) yn gwrs dwy flynedd ac yn gyfwerth â 3 chymhwyster Safon Uwch. Mae'n darparu'r wybodaeth, y ddealltwriaeth a'r sgiliau i ddysgwyr sy'n dymuno cael gyrfa ym meysydd gwyddor labordy a diwydiannol, gwasanaeth gwyddoniaeth feddygol neu wasanaeth gwyddoniaeth fforensig.

The budding scientists – who study at the college’s Llangefni campus - also got the opportunity to chat with their tutors informally and take part in a range of quizzes with their peers.
The Level 3 students - Josie, Michelle, Leanne, Christopher, Robert and Tomás - also gave a joint presentation to first-year students and staff. During this, they shared their experiences of the course, their favourite memories, and their future plans, which include going onto a range of universities to study for degrees in Biomedical Science, Health and Social Care and Marine Vertebrate Zoology!
Susan Parry, programme leader for Biomedical Science at Coleg Menai, said: “We are extremely proud of the students, and it was great being able to celebrate their fantastic achievements with them. Many of the students are going on to study at universities next year and we wish them all the best!”
The Level 3 BTEC Applied Science (Biomedical) course is a two-year course and is equivalent to 3 A-levels. It provides the knowledge, understanding and skills for learners wishing to enter a career as a science technician in the areas of laboratory and industrial science, medical science service or the forensic science service.
