Cyn-fyfyrwraig Lefel A o'r Coleg yn cael ei Swydd Ddelfrydol gyda'r GIG
Mae cyn-fyfyrwraig Lefel A o Goleg Llandrillo wedi cael ei swydd ddelfrydol ym maes rheoli cyllid yn y GIG.
Ar ôl gorffen ei hastudiaethau Lefel A ar gampws y coleg yn Llandrillo-yn-Rhos cafodd Sophie Foulkes, sy'n 23 oed ac yn dod o Abergele, gynnig lle yn Ysgol Fusnes Prifysgol Caer gan fynd ymlaen i gael gradd anrhydedd dosbarth cyntaf.
Yn fuan wedi iddi raddio cafodd un o'r llefydd prin ar Raglen Rheoli Cyllid i Raddedigion GIG Cymru.
Meddai Sophie: "Rydw i ar ben fy nigon yn fy swydd newydd. Mi ges i amser gwych yng Ngholeg Llandrillo. Roedd y darlithwyr yn y coleg yn fwy na bodlon i helpu gyda datblygiad academaidd a phersonol. Cewch yn ôl yr hyn a rowch i mewn i'ch profiad yn y coleg.
"Rhoddodd y cwrs Astudiaethau Busnes gyfle i mi ehangu fy newisiadau addysgol a'm dewisiadau o ran gyrfa. Yn sgil y cyngor gyrfaol a'r gefnogaeth oedd ar gael yn y coleg, llwyddais i fynd i'r brifysgol oedd yn ddewis cyntaf i mi a chael lle wedyn ar Raglen Rheoli Cyllid i Raddedigion GIG Cymru."
Meddai Rheolwr Maes Rhaglen Lefel A, Mynediad i Addysg Uwch, Busnes ac Addysg Coleg Llandrillo, Conor Merrick: "Rydyn ni wrth ein bodd gyda llwyddiant Sophie. Roedd hi'n fyfyrwraig dalentog a gweithgar tra oedd hi gyda ni yn Chweched y Rhyl ac mae hi'n llawn haeddu ei llwyddiant."

After finishing her A-level studies at the college’s Rhos-on-Sea campus, Sophie Ffoulkes, aged 23 from Abergele, was offered a place at the University of Chester’s Business School, eventually graduating with a first-class honours degree.
Soon after graduating from Chester, she gained one of only a few places on the NHS Wales Financial Management Graduate Programme.
Sophie said: “I am thoroughly enjoying my new role. My time at Coleg Llandrillo was fantastic. The lecturers at the college were more than happy to assist with both academic and personal development. You will get back what you put into your college experience.
“Studying A-level Business Studies has given me the platform to widen my educational choices and career options. The continued careers advice and support throughout, assisted me in securing a place at my first-choice university and a position on the NHS Wales Financial Management Graduate Programme.”
