Canlyniadau Rhagorol i Grŵp Llandrillo Menai yn yr Arolwg Cenedlaethol o Fyfyrwyr
Unwaith yn rhagor mae Grŵp Llandrillo Menai wedi cael canlyniadau cadarnhaol iawn yn yr arolwg cenedlaethol o fyfyrwyr Addysg Uwch.
Mae'r Arolwg Cenedlaethol o Fyfyrwyr (ACM) yn casglu barn myfyrwyr am ansawdd eu cyrsiau, ac mae hynny yn ei dro o gymorth i gynghori darpar fyfyrwyr am eu dewisiadau; mae'n cynnig data sy'n cynorthwyo prifysgolion a cholegau i wella profiad myfyrwyr ac yn cefnogi atebolrwydd cyhoeddus. Mae pob prifysgol yn y DU yn cymryd rhan yn yr arolwg, ynghyd â nifer o golegau addysg bellach, ac mae'r cyfraddau ymateb yn uchel bob amser.
Eleni, er gwaethaf yr heriau a achoswyd gan y pandemig Covid-19, mae'r arolwg yn dangos bod lefelau bodlonrwydd myfyrwyr Grŵp Llandrillo Menai'n eithriadol o dda – gyda chyfartaledd bodlonrwydd y myfyrwyr yn 77%. Mae'r canlyniadau hyn yn gosod y Grŵp yn seithfed allan o 17 o ddarparwyr Addysg Uwch yng Nghymru, safle mae'r sefydliad wedi ei gadw ers 2020.
Wrth ymateb i gwestiwn am safon yr addysgu ar eu cwrs, roedd graddfa bodlonrwydd y myfyrwyr dros 83%.
Roedd 87% o'r myfyrwyr yn cytuno bod y staff addysgu'n dda am esbonio pethau, ac 84% o'r farn bod y staff yn gwneud y pwnc yn ddiddorol.
Mae Grŵp Llandrillo Menai'n ymfalchïo mewn darparu cyrsiau gradd sydd ag amserlenni hyblyg, ac mae ymatebion y myfyrwyr yn dangos bod 80% ohonynt yn cytuno bod yr amserlenni hyn yn gweithio'n effeithiol iddyn nhw.
Meddai Joanne Owen, Rheolwr Addysg Uwch Grŵp Llandrillo Menai,
"Rydw i wrth fy modd i weld bod gwaith caled ein myfyrwyr Addysg Uwch, a'r staff sy'n eu cefnogi, wedi arwain at ganlyniadau mor gadarnhaol. Rydym yn falch iawn ein bod ni'n gallu cynnig amrywiaeth eang o gyrsiau gradd i'n myfyrwyr, oherwydd mae hi'n amhosib i nifer ohonynt astudio mewn Prifysgol oddi cartref oherwydd ymrwymiadau personol.
"Mae hi'n fraint cynorthwyo ein myfyrwyr i symud ymlaen ac ymestyn eu hunain drwy ennill gradd a gweithio yn lleol. Gyda chefnogaeth y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, rydym hefyd yn falch iawn o gynnig amrywiaeth eang o gyrsiau Addysg Uwch dwyieithog i fyfyrwyr, ac rydym wrth ein boddau bod rhagor yn dilyn y cyrsiau hyn ac yn cefnogi Safonau'r Gymraeg."
Mae Grŵp Llandrillo Menai’n cynnig cyrsiau prifysgol mewn dros 30 maes pwnc. Darperir y rhan fwyaf o'r cyrsiau yn y ganolfan brifysgol arbenigol ar gampws Llandrillo-yn-Rhos, neu ar ein campysau ym Mangor, Llangefni a'r Rhyl. Mae rhai cyrsiau gradd dwyieithog ar gael yn Nolgellau hefyd.

Every university in the UK takes part in the survey, as do many further education colleges, and response rates are consistently high.
This year, despite the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, the survey shows a fantastic level of student satisfaction amongst Grŵp Llandrillo Menai students - with the overall student satisfaction at 77%. These results place the Grŵp as seventh out of 17 Higher Education providers in Wales, a position which the organisation has retained from 2020.
When asked about the teaching on their course, student replies indicated an overall satisfaction rate of over 83%.
Over 87% of students agreed that the teaching staff are good at explaining things, and 84% found that staff have made the subject interesting.
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai prides itself on providing Degrees with a difference through flexible timetables, and student responses indicate that 80% agree that the timetable works efficiently for them.
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai Higher Education Manager Joanne Owen said,
“I am thrilled to see that the hard work of our Higher Education students, and the staff who support them, has produced such positive results. We are very proud to be able to offer a wide range of degrees to our students, as many are not able to move away to study at University due to commitments at home.”
“It is truly an honour to be able to support them to move forward in challenging themselves to gain a degree and work locally. We are also proud to offer a wide range of bilingual Higher Education courses supported by Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, and have been delighted to see an increased uptake of these courses in support of the Welsh language standards.”
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai offers university courses in over 30 subject areas. The majority of the courses are delivered at the specialist university centre at the Rhos-on-Sea campus, or at our Bangor, Llangefni and Rhyl campuses. Some bilingual degrees are also available at Dolgellau.
Applications are still being accepted for Degree programmes for September entry. Please visit our website gllm.ac.uk/degrees to view our range of courses, or email degrees@gllm.ac.uk to speak to an advisor.
