Mae dysgwyr yn elwa o uwchraddio llyfrgelloedd campysau Pwllheli, Parc Menai a'r Rhyl Grŵp Llandrillo Menai yn dilyn buddsoddiad o £130,000 dros yr haf.
Nawr, yn y flwyddyn academaidd newydd, mae myfyrwyr yn medru manteisio ar y cyfleusterau newydd, fel mannau astudio a silffoedd llyfrau newydd, sy'n creu amgylchedd dysgu mwy modern a hygyrch.
Gwnaed y gwaith uwchraddio yn ystod yr haf ar gampws Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor ym Mhwllheli, campws Coleg Menai ym Mharc Menai a champws Coleg Llandrillo yn y Rhyl, fel rhan o'r cynllun Llyfrgell+ a lansiwyd yn gynharach eleni.
Mae Llyfrgell+ yn bartneriaeth ar y cyd rhwng y Gwasanaethau Llyfrgell, y Gwasanaethau i Ddysgwyr a'r Tîm Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol, a'r bwriad yw creu un lle i fyfyrwyr gael adnoddau a chymorth.
Mae naw campws y Grŵp yn cynnwys 10 llyfrgell, gyda phob canolfan Llyfrgell+ yn cynnwys ystod eang o ddeunyddiau i gefnogi myfyrwyr gyda'u hastudiaethau, yn ogystal â chynnig gweithgareddau lles a chyfoethogi.
Learners are benefiting from revamped libraries at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai’s Pwllheli, Parc Menai and Rhyl campuses following a £130,000 summer investment.
With the new academic year now underway, students are able to take advantage of updated facilities such as new bookshelves and study spaces, creating a more modern and accessible learning environment.
Refurbishment took place over the summer at Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor’s Pwllheli campus, Coleg Menai’s Parc Menai campus and Coleg Llandrillo’s Rhyl campus, as part of the rollout of the Library+ scheme launched earlier this year.
Library+ is a partnership between Library Services, Learner Services and the Additional Learning Needs Team, which is designed to create one point of contact for students to access resources and support.
There are 10 libraries at the Grŵp’s nine campuses, with each Library+ centre having a wide range of materials to support students with their studies, as well as offering wellbeing and enrichment activities.

Dywedodd Marian Jones, Hwylusydd y Llyfrgell a TG yng Ngholeg Meirion-Dwyfor, Pwllheli: “Ynghyd â champysau eraill, yn ystod yr haf cafodd llyfrgell safle Pwllheli ei adnewyddu i fod yn fwy agored, modern, hygyrch a hyblyg.
“Mae mwy o ardaloedd gyda socedi trydan i fyfyrwyr gael defnyddio eu technoleg eu hunain wrth weithio yn y llyfrgell a llai o gyfrifiaduron personol am fod llai o ddefnydd ohonynt yn ystod y blynyddoedd diwethaf. Mae Chromebooks ar gael i’w benthyg am wers neu am ddiwrnod cyfan, ac mae’r rhain yn boblogaidd iawn.
“Bydd cyfleoedd i ymaelodi â chlybiau’r llyfrgell yn rheolaidd yn ystod amser cinio eleni; gwyddbwyll, lliwio a sgwrsio, crosio, dadlau, darllen a Scrabble. Mae cyfle newydd eleni hefyd, sef myfyrwyr yn gwirfoddoli yn y llyfrgell er mwyn iddo fod ar agor yn ystod amser cinio.
“Diolch i bawb a fu o gymorth yn ystod y broses uwchraddio hon, a diolch a phob lwc i’n gwirfoddolwyr newydd. Os am fwy o wybodaeth cysylltwch â llyfrgellpwllheli@gllm.ac.uk”
Marian Jones, Library and IT Facilitator for Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor, Pwllheli, said: “Along with other campuses, during the summer the library at the Pwllheli campus was upgraded to be more open, modern, accessible and flexible.
“There are more areas with power sockets to enable student to use their own technology whilst working in the library, and fewer PCs as the usage levels reduced during recent years. Chromebooks are available on loan for a lesson or a whole day, and this is very popular.
"There will be opportunities to join library clubs regularly at lunchtime this year; including chess, colouring and conversation, crochet, debating, reading and Scrabble. There is a new opportunity this year also, for students to volunteer in the library so that it remains open during lunchtime.
"Thank you to everyone who was involved in the revamping process here, and thank you and best wishes to the new volunteers. For further information contact llyfrgellpwllheli@gllm.ac."

Dywedodd Daniel Huws, llyfrgellydd ar gampws Coleg Llandrillo yn y Rhyl: "Mae'r llyfrgell yng Ngholeg y Rhyl wedi'i ehangu a bellach mae'n amgylchedd gweithio braf, yn llawn golau. Yn ogystal â chynnig y gwasanaethau traddodiadol, rydym ni'n cynnig cefnogaeth gyda Thechnoleg Gwybodaeth, cymorth gydag astudio a man tawel i bobl ag anghenion dysgu ychwanegol."
Ychwanegodd Rhiannon Pugh, Hwylusydd y Llyfrgell a TG yn Llyfrgell yr Adran Celf a Dylunio ym Mharc Menai: "Mae'r llyfrgell yn lle bywiog a diddorol i ysbrydoli ac ysgogi ymchwil gan ddysgwyr. Lle i ddarllen a darlunio, meddwl a myfyrio - mae'n fan cychwyn rhagorol i gael cymorth a chefnogaeth.
"Gall myfyrwyr ddod yma i ymlacio hefyd, edrych ar gylchgronau celf, chwarae gwyddbwyll, adeiladu Lego a chymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau eraill a gynhelir yma drwy gydol y flwyddyn."
Bydd canolfan Llyfrgell+ newydd yn agor ar gampws Tŷ Menai Coleg Menai hefyd. Bydd dysgwyr yn cael eu haddysgu yn y campws newydd ym Mharc Menai o fis Medi 2024 ymlaen.
