Yn ddiweddar, daeth Audrey Cui o MIT draw i rannu gwybodaeth, ac i gynnal sesiwn dysgu ac addysgu gyda myfyrwyr Lefel A Cyfrifiadureg yng Ngholeg Meirion-Dwyfor.
Mae Audrey Cui yn astudio Cyfrifiadureg a Pheirianneg Fecanyddol, ac yn gweithio fel swyddog ymgysylltu gyda’r brifysgol.
Mae MIT wedi chwarae rhan allweddol yn natblygiad technoleg a gwyddoniaeth fodern, ac mae'n un o'r sefydliadau academaidd mwyaf blaenllaw'r byd. Mewn ymweliad dau ddiwrnod a Choleg Meirion-Dwyfor ar gampysau Pwllheli a Dolgellau, cafodd myfyrwyr Lefel A ddysgu am rwydweithiau syntheseiddio, dysgu peirianyddol, ac amrywiaeth o broblemau dysgu dwfn.
Dywedodd Hugh Hughes, tiwtor Lefel A yng Ngholeg Meirion-Dwyfor.
“Braint ac anrhydedd o’r mwyaf, oedd cael croesawu Audrey i’r Coleg. MIT ydi’r sefydliad addysgol gorau drwy’r holl fyd am astudiaethau Peirianneg a Chyfrifiadureg, felly mae cael clywed gan unigolyn fel Audrey yn sicr o fod yn fanteision iawn i’n myfyrwyr.”
Ychwanegodd
“Mae gan Goleg Meirion-Dwyfor enw da iawn am ragoriaeth mewn cyrsiau Cyfrifiadurol a STEM yn fwy cyffredinol, ac mae rhoi’r math yma o gyfleoedd i’n myfyrwyr yn rhan ganolog o waith ac o genhadaeth y Coleg.”
“Yn ddiweddar mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi atgyfnerthu eu datganiad am bwysigrwydd cyrsiau STEM i ddyfodol llewyrchus, glan i Gymru. Mae’r cyfleoedd sydd ar gael wrth ddilyn cyrsiau fel hyn yn eang iawn, ac mae’r sector yn tyfu’n gyflym iawn.”
