Myfyrwyr Celfyddydau Perfformio yn Theatr Fach Y Rhyl

Roedd y myfyrwyr yn ymwneud â phob agwedd o'r cynhyrchiad a berfformiwyd yn ystod tair noson, o'r gwaith goleuo a sain i rolau technegol eraill, ynghyd â'r gwaith o hyrwyddo'r sioe ar y cyfryngau cymdeithasol.

Ymunodd myfyriwr o'r adran gerdd â'r myfyrwyr hefyd i chwarae'r gitâr yn ystod y caneuon.

⁠Dywedodd Jon Crowther , Darlithydd Celfyddydau Perfformio yng Ngholeg Llandrillo:

"Dw i'n falch iawn o lwyddiant yn sioe gerdd, mae'r myfyrwyr wedi gweithio'n galed iawn. Diolch i bawb a ddaeth i weld y sioe ac i'n cefnogi"

"Mae'r cynhyrchiad hwn yn un o'r nifer o gynyrchiadau mae ein myfyrwyr Celfyddydau Perfformio wedi ymwneud â nhw yn ystod eu cyfnod yn y coleg. Rydym yn falch iawn o lwyfannu sioeau proffesiynol gyda'n myfyrwyr, er mwyn cynnig blas o berfformio mewn theatr go iawn iddynt, o flaen cynulleidfa fyw"

"Hoffwn ddiolch yn fawr i adran Cerbydau Modur y coleg hefyd am ddylunio ac adeiladu'r car a ddefnyddiwyd ar y llwyfan"

Meddai Kiera Butterworth, myfyriwr o'r adran Celfyddydau Perfformio, "mae llwyfannu sioe gerdd fel hon wedi rhoi cipolwg i ni o'r diwydiant sioeau cerdd a'r holl agweddau perthnasol fel cynhyrchu, a'r ymroddiad sydd eich angen i lwyddo, ac mae wedi datblygu fy hyder.

Ychwanegodd Corey Dodd, sydd yn astudio Celfyddydau Perfformio hefyd, "Dyma sioe wahanol iawn i'r hyn dw i wedi'i wneud yn y gorffennol, mae wedi rhoi profiad da i mi o faes anghyfarwydd ac wedi ymestyn fy sgiliau ac ychwanegu at fy mhrofiad."

Performed over three nights, the Coleg Llandrillo students were involved in all aspects of the show, including lights, sound and other technical roles, as well as being responsible for promoting the show through social media.

The students were also joined on stage by a Music student, who played the guitar during the songs performed.

Jon Crowther, Performing Arts lecturer at Coleg Llandrillo, said,

“I’m really proud of the success of the musical, the students have worked very hard. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported us”

“This is just one of the many productions our Performing Arts students get to be a part of during their time at college. We’re proud to be able to facilitate professional shows for our students, so that they can a taste of performing at a real theatre, in front of a live audience”

“We’re really grateful to the Motor vehicle department at college too, who designed and built us a car which was used for the set on stage!”

Performing Arts student Kiera Butterworth, said, “Putting the musical together ourselves gave us a real insight into what it is like in the musical theatre industry such as the production, the dedication needed as well as developing my confidence.

Corey Dodd, who also studies Performing Arts, added, “This is a very different show to what i've done in the past so it has been beneficial getting myself out of my comfort zone and widening my skills and experience”
