Myfyrwyr yn Gwerthu Crefftau Nadolig o Waith Llaw mewn Marchnad Nadolig Awyr Agored
Gwnaeth dros 100 o fyfyrwyr Sgiliau Byw'n Annibynnol Coleg Llandrillo - ynghyd â staff a myfyrwyr o sawl adran arall greu gŵyl y gaeaf heddiw, gan gynnal eu marchnad Nadolig diwedd blwyddyn tu allan ar gampws Llandrillo-yn-Rhos y coleg.
Roedd y staff a'r myfyrwyr yn falch o'r cyfle i gael bargen neu ddwy o waith llaw cyn yr Ŵyl wrth iddynt grwydro o gwmpas sawl stondin marchnad awyr agored....wedi eu cynnal mewn arddull Ewropeaidd traddodiadol!
Treuliodd criw o fyfyrwyr SBA - sydd ag amrywiaeth o anableddau dysgu - wythnosau'n paratoi at y digwyddiad. Bydd yr holl arian a godwyd yn mynd at elusen y coleg eleni, Shelter Cymru.
Cyn y digwyddiad, defnyddiodd y myfyrwyr eu sgiliau i uwchgylchu detholiad o eitemau pren a nwyddau cyffredinol y cartref gan wneud iddynt edrych yn dymhorol i'w gwerthu ar y dydd, gan gynnwys addurniadau, gonks, conau coed pin sgleiniog, torchau a llieiniau cul ar gyfer y Nadolig. Mi wnaethon nhw hefyd redeg tombola a stondin raffl.
Gwerthodd y myfyrwyr Lletygarwch ac Arlwyo ddetholiad o ddanteithion yr ŵyl gan gynnwys pwdinau Nadolig a mins peis i enwi ond ychydig. Roedd yr adrannau eraill oedd a stondinau eleni yn cynnwys Llwybrau i Adeiladu, Celf a Dylunio a Gwallt a Harddwch.
Dywedodd Rheolwr y Maes Rhaglen Sgiliau Byw Annibynnol, Jane Myatt: "Hoffwn ddiolch i'r holl fyfyrwyr a staff am eu cefnogaeth. Rydym yn eithriadol o falch o'n myfyrwyr am y gwaith caled yn arwain at y farchnad ac yn ystod y dydd ei hun. Mi wnaethon nhw wir fwynhau gwerthu eu creadigaethau i staff a myfyrwyr fel ei gilydd."

Staff and students alike were delighted to be able to pick up a handcrafted festive bargain or two as they wandered around several outdoor market stalls…staged in a traditional European style!
Scores of ILS students - who have additional learning needs - spent weeks preparing for the event. All funds raised will go to this year’s college charity, Shelter Cymru.
During the run-up to the event, the students used their skills to upcycle a wide range of wooden and general household items, transforming them into festive decorations to sell on the day, including Christmas baubles, gonks, glittery pine cones, wreaths and table runners. They also manned a tombola and raffle stand.
The Hospitality & Catering students sold a delicious array of festive treats, including Christmas puddings and mince pies to name but a few. Other departments manning stalls this year included Pathways to Construction, Art & Design and Hair & Beauty.
Independent Living Skills programme area manager, Jane Myatt, said: “I would like to thank all the staff and students for their support. We are extremely proud of our students for the hard work leading up to the market and during the actual day. They really enjoyed selling their creations to staff and students alike.”
