Myfyriwr CMD o Ddolgellau wedi ei dewis ar gyfer Origins Creatives 2022
Mae Ffion Pugh, sy'n astudio ar gyfer Diploma L3 UAL mewn Celf a Dylunio yng Ngholeg Meirion-Dwyfor, Dolgellau, wedi ei dewis allan o 500 o ymgeiswyr o golegau ledled y wlad i arddangos ei gwaith yn Origins Creatives yn Llundain. Roedd posteri “Lockdown” Ffion yn wirioneddol yn sefyll allan, ar unig waith dwyieithog yn yr arddangosfa.
Ar ôl cyfnod hir o stasis ac unigedd oherwydd y pandemig, mae angen cyfleoedd ar bobl o bob oed a chefndir i ail gysylltu â dysgu a rhannu eu syniadau a’u profiadau â chynulleidfaoedd ehangach. Mae Arddangosfa UAL ORIGINS CREATIVES yn cynnig cyfle o’r fath, gan gynnig cyfle i dros 150 o fyfyrwyr o bob rhan o’r wlad gyflwyno eu gwaith yn gyhoeddus.

“Roedd yn noson wych iawn ym Mragdy Truman yn Shoreditch, Llundain, ar 21 Gorffennaf. Mor braf bod yn rhan o rywbeth mor llawen i ddathlu creadigrwydd artistiaid a dylunwyr ifanc.
Cyflwynwyd yr holl waith creadigol mor broffesiynol, a chafwyd geiriau calonogol hefyd gan siaradwyr gwadd o’r diwydiannau creadigol, yn enwedig Grayson Perry.”

After ther prolonged period of stasis and isolation due to the pandemic, people of all ages and backgrounds need opportunities to re-engage with learning and sharing their ideas and experiences with wider audiences. The UAL ORIGINS CREATIVES Exhibition provides such an opportunity, offering over 150 students from across the country the chance to present their work publicly.
Martin Evans, head of the Art and Design Dep at Dolgellau said
“It was a really wonderful evening at the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, London, on 21st July. So nice to be a part of something so joyous to celebrate the creativity of young artists and designers.
All of the creative work was presented so professionally, and there were also encouraging words from guest speakers from the creative industries, especially Grayson Perry.”
