Myfyrwyr Celf Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor yn dathlu penblwydd Eryri yn 70ed.
Mae myfyrwyr Celf a Dylunio ar gampws Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor’s Dolgellau wedi bod yn gweithio ar brosiect celf cydweithredol gyda Pharc Cenedlaethol Eryri i ddathlu pen-blwydd y parc yn 70 oed.
Mae’r cydweithrediad, sy’n cynnwys rhai o enwau mwyaf adnabyddus Gogledd Cymru ym myd celf, yn rhan o ddathliad am fis a ddechreuodd ar Hydref 1af.
Comisiynwyd artistiaid sy'n defnyddio amrywiaeth o gyfryngau i ddathlu'r parc a'i rinweddau arbennig yn greadigol ar wefan newydd, a aeth yn fyw ar Hydref 1af. Mae'r wefan yn cynnwys map rhithwir o Eryri.

Dywedodd Ffion Pugh, myfyriwr ar y cwrs Diploma L3 mewn Celf a Dylunio yn Nolgellau: “Fe wnes i fwynhau’r profiad yn ystod y prosiect hwn yn fawr. Roedd gwneud celf amgylcheddol yn hollol newydd i mi, ac roedd gallu dathlu pen-blwydd y Parciau Cenedlaethol yn 70 oed yn y broses yn gyffrous iawn. ”
Comisiynwyd bardd cenedlaethol Cymru Ifor Ap Glyn i ysgrifennu cerdd yn arbennig ar gyfer y dathliad hwn ac mae artistiaid amrywiol wedi ymateb i’r gerdd gan ddefnyddio amrywiaeth o gyfryngau sy’n tynnu sylw at rinweddau arbennig y parc. Ymhlith y gweithiau hyn mae: paentiad gan Lisa Eurgain Taylor; giât a wnaed gan Joe Roberts; gosodiad celf amgylcheddol gan Tim Pugh; cân a gyfansoddwyd gan Owain Roberts ac Eve Goodman, a ffilm ddawns gan Angharad Harrop gyda’r delynores Helen Wyn Pari.
Dywedodd Martin Evans, arweinydd cwrs ar raglen Celf a Dylunio: “Mae cael y math hwn o brofiad yn wirioneddol amhrisiadwy i’n myfyrwyr. Mae'r myfyrwyr hyn i gyd yn byw o fewn neu'n agos at ffiniau Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, ac maent wedi ymateb mewn ffordd unigryw a phersonol i gynhyrchu gwaith hynod greadigol. Mae gweld eu gwaith celf yn cael ei gyflwyno ochr yn ochr ag enwau mor fawr ym myd celf Cymru yn brofiad gwych iddyn nhw. Rydym yn dymuno'r gorau i Barc Cenedlaethol Eryri gyda'u dathliadau Eryri70, ac rydym yn ddiolchgar iawn ein bod wedi cael cyfle i gyfrannu'n greadigol. "

The collaboration, which includes some of North Wales’ best-known names within the world of art, is part of a month-long celebration which started on October 1st.
Artists using a variety of mediums were commissioned to celebrate the park and its special qualities creatively on a new website, which went live on October 1st. The website contains a virtual map of Eryri.

Ffion Pugh, student on the L3 Diploma in Art & Design course at Dolgellau said: “I really did enjoy the experience during this project. Making environmental art was completely new to me, and to be able to celebrate the National Parks' 70th birthday in the process was really exciting.”
Wales national bard Ifor Ap Glyn was commissioned to write a poem especially for this celebration and various artists have responded to the poem using a variety of mediums highlighting the parks’ special qualities. Among these works are: a painting by Lisa Eurgain Taylor; a gate made by Joe Roberts; an environmental art installation by Tim Pugh; a song composed by Owain Roberts and Eve Goodman, and a dance film by Angharad Harrop, accompanied by harpist Helen Wyn Pari.
Martin Evans, course leader on the Art and Design programme, said: “Having this kind of experience is truly invaluable to our students. All of these students live within or near to the boundaries of Snowdonia National Park, and they have responded in a unique and personal way to produce highly creative work. Seeeing their artwork presented alongside such big names in the Welsh art world is a fantastic experience for them. We wish Snowdonia National Park all the very best with their Eryri70 celebrations, and we are very grateful to have been given the opportunity to contribute creatively.”
