Myfyrwyr Celfyddydau Creadigol yn Creu Dwy Ffilm Fer Broffesiynol
Pob blwyddyn mae myfyrwyr yr Adrannau Celfyddydau Perfformio a'r Cyfryngau yng Ngholeg Menai yn cael cyfle cyffrous i weithio gyda chwmni cynhyrchu 'It's My Shout' i greu dwy ffilm fer.
Eleni, mae'r myfyrwyr wedi cael cyfle i weithio gyda Richard Harrington, seren y gyfres deledu 'Hinterland'. Bydd y ffilmiau y bu'r myfyrwyr yn gweithio arnynt yn ymddangos ar y BBC ac S4C.
Dywedodd Paul Edwards, Rheolwr Maes Rhaglen ym maes y Cyfryngau a'r Celfyddydau Perfformio:
"Mae hyn yn gyfle ardderchog i'n myfyrwyr weithio gyda phobl broffesiynol yn y diwydiant - o flaen y camera a thu ôl iddo! Bydd profiadau gwerthfawr fel hyn yn eu paratoi ar gyfer gyrfaoedd gwych yn y diwydiant."
Mae nifer o'n cyn-fyfyrwyr sydd wedi bod yn rhan o brosiectau blaenorol gyda 'It's My Shout' wedi mynd ymlaen i weithio yn y diwydiant gyda'r BBC, S4C, Netflix a nifer o gwmnïau cynhyrchu eraill.
Yn dilyn y gwaith o gynhyrchu'r ddwy ffilm, bydd y dysgwyr yn derbyn gwahoddiad i fynychu'r Premiere a'r Noson Wobrwyo yn Neuadd Dewi Sant, Caerdydd. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn cael y cyfle i wylio'r ffilm orffenedig ar sgrin fawr ac yn cael cyfle i sgwrsio gydag enwogion a phobl broffesiynol yn y digwyddiad carped coch.
Mae nifer o gyn-fyfyrwyr wedi ennill gwobrau megis yr Actor Gorau, Actores Orau a'r Rhedwr Gorau yn y seremoni wobrwyo arbennig hon. Gobeithir y bydd y Premiere a'r Seremoni Wobrwyo yn digwydd fis Medi eleni.
The students have had the great opportunity to work alongside the star of crime series ‘Hinterland’, Richard Harrington. The films the students work on will be screened on the BBC and S4C.
Paul Edwards, Programme Area Manager for Media, and Performing Arts, explained,
“This is an excellent opportunity for our learners to work with industry professionals - both in front of the camera and behind the scenes! Valuable experience like this will prepare them for fantastic careers in the industry.”
Many of the past learners that have worked on previous projects with “It’s My Shout” have gone onto work within the industry and gain employment with the BBC, S4C, Netflix, and many other production companies.
Following the production of both films, the learners are then invited to attend the Annual Premiere and Awards evening at St David’s Hall , Cardiff. Students will finally get the chance to watch their finished film on the big screen, as well as network with the celebrity guest list and industry professionals at the red carpet event.
Many past learners have been awarded Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Runner at the prestigious Awards ceremony. It is hoped that the Premiere and Awards Ceremony will take place in September of this year.
