Craffu creadigol ar fywyd yn ystod cyfnodau clo
Mae myfyrwyr cyrsiau ysgrifennu creadigol yng Ngholeg Menai wedi rhyddhau llyfr ar y cyd yn myfyrio eu profiadau yn ystod y cyfnodau clo diweddar.
Mae'r llyfr, "Cyfansoddiadau'r Cyfnod Clo" yn cynnwys 25 darn a ysgrifennwyd gan fyfyrwyr rhan amser y cwrs Ysgrifennu Creadigol yn ystod y cyfnodau clo a chyfyngiadau caeth rhwng mis Mawrth a mis Rhagfyr 2020.
Rhoddant gip i ni ar fywydau'r awduron yn ystod y cyfnod bythgofiadwy hwn, a oedd yn teimlo'n ddiddiwedd, a thystiant i wytnwch a chadernid y natur ddynol a'r modd y goroesa hyd yn oed yn wyneb bygythiadau a pheryglon cudd a chyson.
Dywedodd Eabhan Ní Shuileabháin, tiwtor Ysgrifennu Creadigol yng Ngholeg Menai: Mae hi wedi bod yn fraint ac yn bleser crynhoi’r cyfansoddiadau yn y llyfryn hwn yn ogystal ag annog yr awduron a bod y cyntaf i ddarllen y gweithiau hyn. Yn sicr, gwnaethant fy nhaith drwy'r cyfnod clo yn un llawer mwy diddorol a phleserus! Mi wnewch chi fwynhau eu darllen rŵan i hel atgofion, ac efallai bydd y darnau yn eich atgoffa i wneud yn siŵr na fydd gofyn i ni wynebu cyfnod clo arall."

The book, aptly named ‘Writings in Lockdown,’ is composed of pieces written by 25 part-time Creative Writing students during one of the periods of lockdown and heavy restrictions, between March 2020 and December 2020.
The pieces of writing give a window into the authors’ worlds during this unforgettable and seemingly unending period of our history, speaking to the resilience and strength of the human spirit and how it survives even in the face of constant low-lying levels of threat and danger.
Eabhan Ní Shuileabháin, Creative Writing tutor at Coleg Menai, said, “It has been my privilege and pleasure to collate these writings into this booklet and to act as the prompter and first reader for them. They certainly made my journey through lockdown a much more interesting and pleasant one! Enjoy reading them now, as a reminder and, maybe, as a prompt to make sure we don't have to go back into lockdown again.”
