Y Cwmni Colur Mwyaf yn y Byd yn Dod i'r Coleg

Cafodd myfyrwyr Trin Gwallt Grŵp Llandrillo Menai eu gwahodd gan gynrychiolwyr cwmni colur mwya'r byd i gymryd rhan mewn digwyddiad arbennig iawn: diwrnod o ddathlu ac i arddangos y grefft a'r ddawn sy'n gysylltiedig â thrin gwallt a choluro, yn ogystal â chyfle i weld rownd derfynol cystadleuaeth L'Oréal Colour Trophy am eleni'n cael ei dangos ar sgrin fawr.

Roedd yr L'Oréal Future Talent Watch Party yn un o bum digwyddiad a gynhaliwyd ledled y DU ac yn gyfle i fyfyrwyr Trin Gwallt o dri choleg Grŵp Llandrillo Menai – Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai a Choleg Meirion-Dwyfor – gymryd rhan mewn tiwtorialau ac arddangosiadau amrywiol, yn ogystal â derbyn bag o roddion am ddim!

Yr artist a wahoddwyd i'r digwyddiad oedd Ashley Graham, cyn-fyfyriwr Trin Gwallt o Goleg Llandrillo. Dychwelodd i'w gyn-goleg ychydig fisoedd yn unig wedi i'w greadigaethau ffasiynol ar gyfer amrywiol frandiau byd-eang gael eu gweld ar lwyfannau wythnosau ffasiwn Efrog Newydd, Paris a Llundain!

Yn y digwyddiad a gynhaliwyd yn y coleg cafodd rownd derfynol cystadleuaeth L'Oréal Colour Trophy ei dangos o Lundain ar sgrin fawr. Mae'r gystadleuaeth fyd-eang hon, a ddechreuodd gael ei chynnal yn y 1950au, yn llawn bri ac yn gyfle i weithwyr trin gwallt proffesiynol ddangos eu doniau a'u creadigrwydd a rhoi cynnig ar ennill gwobrau anhygoel.

Yn y digwyddiad ar gampws Llandrillo-yn-Rhos cafodd y dysgwyr eu hannog hefyd i gofrestru ar gyfer categori newydd i fyfyrwyr sef LCT Future Talent.

Mae cryn edrych ymlaen at yr ychwanegiad hwn i'r sioe flynyddol, sydd wedi bod yn un o'r cystadlaethau pwysicaf yn y maes trin gwallt ers dros chwe degawd. Wrth gofrestru ar gyfer y categori LCT Future Talent bydd myfyrwyr y coleg yn cystadlu am gyfle i gael eu mentora gan berson amlwg yn y diwydiant trin gwallt.

The L'Oréal Future Talent Watch Party – one of only five held across the UK – provided Hairdressing students from across Grŵp Llandrillo Menai’s three colleges - Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor – with a wide range of tutorials, live demos, and eagerly anticipated goody bags!

Guest artist on the day was ex-Coleg Llandrillo Hairdressing student Ashley Graham. He returned to his former college just months after his stylish creations for a range of global brands lit up the catwalks at the New York, Paris and London fashion weeks!

The college event also included a screening of this year’s glitzy L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final which was held in London. This prestigious, global competition – which began in the 1950s - enables hair professionals to showcase their talent and creativity and be in with the chance of winning amazing prizes.

Held at the Rhos-on-Sea campus, the mini roadshow also aimed to spotlight future talent by encouraging learners to enter the L'Oréal Colour Trophy competition’s new student category: LCT Future Talent.

The new category is an eagerly anticipated addition to the annual extravaganza, which has been one of the most illustrious competitions within the world of hairdressing for over six decades. College students can enter the LCT Future Talent category, which secures the winner with a high-profile mentor from within the hairdressing industry.
